Summer

In the summer, we focus lots of our time and resources on our fields, where we grow a huge variety of fruits and vegetables. We grow the best sweet corn around, and our tomatoes just can’t be beat.  (These usually last through October.) . Our farm stand features the best in locally grown produce, and we pick fresh every day.

We also continue to have our summer annuals and perennials for your garden needs.  There are experienced staff at the farm who can help you decide what to plant where.  We also customize container arrangements, with herbs, flowers, mixtures of both, and more.

Some farm fresh products you can find during the summer months are:

  • Basil
  • Beans
  • Corn (a customer favorite!)
  • Cucumbers
  • Eggplant
  • Muskmelon (a staff favorite!)
  • Peppers, many varieties of hot and sweet
  • Summer Squash
  • Tomatoes, including heirloom, grape, cherry, red, yellow, lots and lots more
  • Watermelon
  • Zucchini
  • Local Honey
  • Losts more!!
